What does ESCA do?
Edinburgh Students’ Charities Appeal (ESCA) provides financial, advisory, and mentoring support to students at universities across Edinburgh who fundraise for third party charities. We have fundraised over £600,000 in the past five years.
What can ESCA offer you?
It's a brilliant opportunity to connect with Edinburgh’s student population, assist with advice on fundraising events and see the remarkable difference students can make to people’s lives. Sitting as a voluntary trustee is also a great way to meet new people, learn and share skills, and is a unique development opportunity.
Whilst all experience, ages and enthusiasm are welcome, we are keen for those who could offer:
- Experience in event management or planning
- Experience in finances, such as managing budgets - Experience in managing teams
Monthly term time meetings (1-2 hours, early evening).
Ad hoc support with tasks and queries (approx. 2-3 hours per month)
To apply please email with a CV, including details of relevant experience.
Don’t forget to share this opportunity with friends or colleagues who you think would also be interested!
