how to apply

In order to get the best candidates for the ESCA voluntary team positions, selection for each of these posts is by application form and informal interview.

Don't let this put you off. You can download the application form at the bottom of this page. It's quite basic, we dont need a complete life history, we just want to know a little bit about who you are and what you have to offer. Likewise, the interview will be fairly informal and will look to expand on the information you give us on your application form.

Remember, you don't need to have any specific experience in the particular area that you are applying for, but some knowledge and evidence of an interest in fundraising and/or voluntary activities would be preferred. If you don't have any particular preference for what you can do for ESCA, just say so and we will fit you into the most relevant team for you.

There is no fixed application deadline as we recruit thoughout the year for poeple to join these teams. If you would like to get involved, fill out an application form and send it back to us at ESCA, Student Volunteer Centre, 5/1 Bristo Square, Edinburgh, EH8 9AL.
