ESCApe artist is ESCA's production arm and runs on the ethos that it is possible to bring even the most ambitious of ideas to fruition.

ESCApe artist provides a production machine that enables students and young people to design, organise, publicise, and manage events and projects of any magnitude on the basis that they add momentum to youth culture in Edinburgh. It has ambition, scope and a commitment to young talent.

ESCApe Artist has a current membership team of over 90 students from all walks of life. The project runs on a semi-autonomous basis and provides a wide range of opportunities for anyone wanting to get involved with charitable volunteering in an arts/production area.

students raise over £13,000 for red cross china earthquake appeal

A group of Chinese students from accross Edinburgh have raised in excess of £13,000 for the British Red Cross China Earthquake Appeal.

They ran a number of collections, around Edinburgh and Heriot-Watt Universities, on the streets of Edinburgh City Centre and at COSTCO. Many thanks to all those who helped or made a donation.

At least sixty five thousand people were killed and many more injured by the devastating earthquake that struck south west China on 12th May 2008.

great north run

On 5th October 2008, Tom French and Laura Jayne Baker will attempt to complete the BUPA Great North Run (a half marathon distance) in aid of the mental health charity MIND.
